Jay Transportation
Quality Control Questions

Q:  Why is communication central to Quality Control?
A:  Our dedicated dispatchers are the "guts" of our operation.  So, we start there.  We focus on your clients schedules and special needs.  Our reports are detailed , must be handled with special care by the driver.  Our drivers are promoted with "on-time" performace reports and conduct.  Jay transportation supervises our drivers very closely, more importantly rewards them for excellence.  This program is unique to our competition, improves our efficiency,  accuracy, care and speed.  We handle all the transportation requirements one at a time; and communicate regularly to keep all parties informed.  Most importantly we strive for road safety.

Q:  How important is State and Federal compliance?
A:  We are very conservative and emphasize compliance, dotting our i's and crossing our t's.  Smaller firms cannot afford this type of detail.  We work with State and Gov’t entities that demand the highest reporting; and are  always leading us to improve in our safety ratings and safety requirements; and customer service and special needs requirements.  We are proactive in knowing about State and Federal Regulatory Requirements.  This is why we hire a compliance officer.  Our drivers have at least 5 years experience in medicar transportation, superior knowledge of main thoroughfares and streets, ability to lift larger patients and use our wheelchair supports.  Our vans, buses and cars are checked and maintained with our onsight mechanics.  We buy our vans and cars brand new and service them as required by State law and as recommended by each manufacturer.

Q:
What is the Quality Control process?
A: Our quality control process ensures that all staff, drivers, equipment and dispatch not only meet meet all regulatory and compliance guidelines but that we are educated in efficiency and integrity, to limit any and all errors or miscommunications.  Quality Control is more that State Law, it is our definition of the customers experience.  Jay Transportation has created an additional policy and procedure manual for all staff to follow.  We hold our staff to a even higher level of professionalism.  Our clients appreiate it.  Quality Control starts with good communication, hard work and a willingness to care.  It is with technology that we can quanitfy and measure our goals and success to insure imporvement and policy.  The technology we use is proprietary and state of the art; and as we always strive to hire the best employees and drivers, this is our first defense and will propel our efforts to maintain the reputation that we have worked so hard to build, over 18 year.  We have a zero tolerance drug policy and with supervision and a full time compliance officer, we have a training program to lift our employess to their maximum potential.  Our insurance providers demand the best practices and we are sure to follow them accordingly.

For more detail we can provide you with our manuals.
